The minimum cost is based on the student pilot arriving with no prior flying experience or FAA certification. Experieced pilots have different requirements and these are listed in the FAR's. Aslo, it takes about two weeks to get your glider add-on rating. Initial glider rating take about a month. Depending how many flights and ground school sessions you do.

Some students finish before the minimums others shortly after; it all depends on the student and the evaluation of the student by the instructor.We aporate from a non-towered airfield, which means you fly more, learn more and spend more time in the air.
